I recommend you the historical novel "The virgin and the violin" by Carmen Boullosa, a book about the renaissance painter Sofonisba Anguissola, it has very interesting ideas and plays a lot with the context of the time to make situations very out of the ordinary, I read it for my last work and I really liked it

@MasterHand4444 I just checked and it seems that although the author does have books translated into English, that one in particular hasn't been translated. I had no idea about that. Sorry, maybe you'll find a book by the same author that you'd like.

I have John Truby's "The Anatomy of Story" in my bag while I'm on a camping trip, but so far it's only been a last resort item if my batteries run out. I am a dum dum and I need to read more. :(
