Da Intro
Howdy and hello, folks, and welcome to the fourteenth monthly blog post.
July was an awesome month!! Especially for me - totally not biased here, but Christmas in July was a huge success! Peep the album and art if you haven’t yet:
Just as a disclaimer: I’ll only be showcasing submissions rated E or rated T. I have the M and A ratings turned off for my account, so if a user I showcase here has submissions with those ratings on their account, I may not know about it. Viewer discretion is advised and all that!

Da Works
“Da Works” will be me going over three works from this month that especially stood out to me here on NG. It may be popular stuff that I want to celebrate even more, or it may be more lesser known things that I think need a bit more love. Who knows! Anyways, here’s da works for this month.
Da first work from last month is “What If DELTARUNE was a Fighting Game [Pixel Animation]” by @Ditchu! As usual, Ditchu’s pixel perfect animation style looks and feels phenomenal here. I loved the palette swaps and menu mockups as well!
Da second is “(fnf) suselle” by @nexketch! Wowza - it’s a DELTARUNE double feature!! As usual nexketch gives us some earworm melodic movements, and the vocal samples utilized are very striking and uniquely executed in a way that almost doesn’t feel like FNF - the samples themselves are awesome, and the way they’re structured feels very conversational.
Da third and final work is “MLP: FUN NIGHTS AU” by @mihar34! This art series combines one of my favorite things (FNAF) with one of my girlfriend’s favorite things (MLP) in a very fun and cute way, and following this AU has been very entertaining. Check it out!
Da Spotlight
This segment is meant to celebrate the cool users on the site who I just think are plain awesome.
Da first spotlight goes to @URAYsan, a composer who I worked with for CIJ24 and NGVSBF! URAYsan has a very strong electronic style (and a penchant for the bitcrushed), and their driving beats will make you tap your foot and bop your head in sync - you have no choice. Please check out their music!
Da second spotlight belongs to @ReindeerOfLight, a two-time CIJ participant! With a tendency to lean towards orchestral vibes, but not shying away from other styles, ReindeerOfLight has proven to be a very capable and, in my opinion, underrated musician. Check them out!

Da People
This is a segment where I send some interview questions to a cool NG user and showcase their answers!
This month, I interviewed @TomFulp, a very hidden gem of a creator! Best known for his work on Mason’s Bubble Blast, TomFulp is a programmer and Newgrounds enthusiast. He’s even got a few NG OCs of his own!
Thanks to @Aalasteir for suggesting this interview!
Interviews are presented as-received with no edits unless otherwise specified. Some links have been added to mentions of media.
What are the main inspirations you draw from in your work?
In terms of games, Treasure games like Gunstar Heroes, Guardian Heroes, Radiant Silvergun and Silhouette Mirage are big inspirations. Movie-wise, Verhoeven films like RoboCop and Starship Troopers are big. Music-wise it's all varieties of electronic music and dark goth/industrial stuff. I get inspired when I travel, visiting different places and feeling different vibes.
How did you discover Newgrounds?
By creating it!
What’s your favorite thing you’ve submitted to Newgrounds?
Maybe The Room game.
Editor's note: Please note that this game is rated M. Viewer discretion is advised.
What’s your favorite color?
I'm kinda stuck between blue-grey and orange.
What’s your LEAST favorite color?
Maybe something in the neighborhood of #b2945b, or #d1ce7c.
Give a shoutout to one Newgrounds user!
Shout out to @Jaime-R!
What’s your message to the NG community?
Be nice to each other and I hope you're enjoying NG. If you like making stuff, try making stuff with people here.
Da Rest
June was a pretty good month for me with some highs and some lows. Got a lot of good stuff cooking behind the scenes, as always.
Happy 10 years to FNAF; I really hope that secret collab being announced in a few days is with Fortnite.
Stay safe, stay happy, stay healthy. Bye for now!
Also - for any interested musicians, I’m hosting my first ever music competition! Be sure to check out the details:
